Justin Bieber Vows 'To Be Better' After Suspicious Weed Photos Hit Net

Justin Bieber may be just perfect to his legions of Beliebers, but according to the Canadian crooner, he's still "trying to be better." After photos of JB holding what appears to be a joint surfaced online, the pop superstar hit Twitter in the early hours of Saturday morning (January 5) with a post that seemed to address the controversial snaps.
"Everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up," he wrote hours after TMZ got their hands on images of Bieber  looking photo shoot-ready and casual in grey hoodie and Nikes  kicking back with friends in a Newport Beach, California, hotel room earlier this week.
According to the tabloid site, Bieber's good homey Lil Twist was also present, though the YMCMB rapper isn't captured in the photographs posted under the hedline "Justin Bieber — Let's be Blunt."
And while Twist and Bieber have been promising fans a joint mixtape as far back as 2010, the duo have been making more noise on TMZ than MTV in the first week of the New Year. Shortly after a paparazzo was killed trying to photograph the "Boyfriend" singer's Ferrari, sources reported that it was in fact the Dallas-bred Twist behind the wheel of the car this past Tuesday.

Bieber offered up prayers for the victim and his family, but also urged lawmakers to draft legislation that would help further ensure the safety (and privacy, no doubt) of celebs. His latest scrap with the gossip rags doesn't seem to have thrown Bieber off course though.
In the wake of a flood of support from his followers, the singer tweeted that he was turning the focus back to performing, namely the Utah stop on his Believe Tour. The 18-year-old's Believe Acoustic EP is set for a January 29 release.
